My Ecodesign Methodology

We can no longer limit ourselves to hypothesising sustainability: we need to measure it. By using LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodologies and applying them during the design phase, it is possible to estimate the environmental footprint in kg CO2 of a product already in the concept phase. This approach transforms design into a tool for informed choices, where materials and shapes can be evaluated using a new set of data.

Thanks to my specialisation in ecodesign and my constant commitment and passion in the field of sustainable design, I have perfected a proprietary method for calculating the impact of products in the development phase. It is a methodology that uses LCA software and ISO 14040 and 14044 standards, which allows different design variants or individual products to be calculated and compared, informing the process in the direction of reducing environmental impact.

I invite you to check the technical report below for the specific advantages and impact metrics of this analysis method.
